How Custom Is Your Concrete Fence

If you live in the Houston area, it can get pretty wet. The deep end of the pool kind of wet. With that in mind, our concrete fences can be installed with accommodations for additional drainage in a couple of different ways. Adding a 4" PVC pipe filled with concrete into the groove can prop up the last panel a few inches, allowing water to flow at the bottom. We can also cut "weep holes" in the bottom panel. Weep holes allow water to escape a building envelope. Both methods are helpful when you need a small amount of drainage space. For a taller gap, we do not recommend using PVC. You can use a steel bar to support the taller gap by installing it in the pier groove.

Security is another reason our customers often request custom features for their concrete fences. Our customers often request a gate to be installed alongside their newly installed concrete fence. Sometimes, it’s a simple walkthrough gate and for others, it’s a rolling security gate. The concrete fences built by Hilltop Concrete can easily accommodate additional security options, such as barbed wire or rebar j-hooks along the top. With concrete's inherent features, these measures create an incredibly secure fence. While we make these customizations during the manufacturing process, you can always add them later if you feel more security is needed.
