Should You RePair or Replace Your Fence

Concrete fences are known for their low maintenance that can last a lifetime.  Sometimes things happen out of our control.  Over time your concrete fence will face lawnmowers, people,  thunderstorms, and the summer heat. In most cases, sealing a chip or a crack will extend the life of your concrete fence and maintain its unique  appearance. However, not all damage can be patched and repaired. Your concrete fence was expensive so you want it to last as long as it can.

The best time to look for chips or cracks is when doing maintenance. Taking a look at your fence when you wash it will help keep small cracks and chips that are easily repaired from turning into larger problems down the road. Walking the fence line is also a great way to check for leaning posts or areas that may be sinking or shifting. If you have a leaning post, it would need to be reset before it can affect the rest of the structure. This seems like an easy fix but determining why it was leaning is important to ensure you do not have the same problem in the future. Hilltop Concrete’s expert crews can help with all types of concrete fence issues and can offer their expertise even if you decide to repair it yourself.

We understand not everyone is not able to perform repairs themselves but if you are, Hilltop Concrete’s panel systems are easy to work with. If you have a single damaged panel, you can remove all undamaged panels, insert a new one, and replace all the other pieces, it’s that simple. If you are not interested in repairing yourself,  we are happy to perform small or large repair jobs for you. We are always here to give you a quote free of charge.

Our team members can look at any damage you’ve found and recommend either a repair or replacement based on what they see. If we can save you money on an easy repair, we will.
