Featured Project Parc at Windmill Farms

One of our favorite projects in the Dallas area is the Parc at Windmill Farms concrete fence. It was a newly developed multi-family complex located in Forney, TX. This complex was situated on approximately 18 acres and consists of 17 residential buildings, a resort-style pool, clubhouse, business center, and fitness center. This new commercial development project was adjacent to an existing residential neighborhood.

The city required that the developer install a concrete or masonry screening wall for the neighbors' privacy and the complex's security. While the developer wanted to provide an aesthetically pleasing option to all parties involved, a traditional masonry wall was too expensive. After considering other options, they ultimately chose Hilltop Concrete. Our precast concrete fences are much faster to install, do not utilize mortar, and do not require footers though we are happy to include one for you. They also require individual bricks or stones to be placed one at a time resulting in a long and labor-intensive installation process adding more costs.

Hilltop Concrete’s concrete fencing is the perfect way to replicate the beauty that traditional masonry provides but with the superior benefits of precast! This project features a 1,995 linear foot wall that is 6’ high, which spanned the rear of the property and served all these purposes while also providing a wall that will remain nearly maintenance-free for years to come. The owners picked Yosemite Brown as the fence color to complement both the surrounding environment and the multiple housing units and create a sense of unity throughout the complex. Hilltop Concrete was excited to be a part of this collaboration between new neighbors and we always strive to make each project better than the last.
